A landmark project for Quinn London, our team delivered external redecoration works at the Grade I-Listed Institute of Directors HQ over the course of 18 weeks. The scheme focused on repairing the roof and windows, as well as render repairs, decoration works, installation of pigeon netting and bird wire, and roofing repairs.

The highly prestigious business venue of Georgian heritage attracts thousands of IoD members and guests each week, posing the significant challenge of conducting works in a live environment.

Conducting the works in a live environment was a challenge with precautions being taken to minimise noise and dust disturbance for the clients and visitors. The team collaborated closely with the client to ensure that all works were carried out with minimal disruption. During the project, several render checks were conducted to ensure that the repairs were in keeping with the rest of the building.

The surrounding area of the site was extremely busy making the erection and striking of scaffolding a complex task. To overcome these challenges, the team put in place numerous parking bay and pavement suspensions to facilitate the works and provide access for plant and materials. Despite these difficulties, the team completed the project successfully, delivering high-quality work that met the client’s expectations.
