Social Value
We use the National TOMs measurement tool, a tried and tested framework to measure and report on the impact of our Social Value activity to our clients and communities.
Our in-house RLO team focus on delivering local initiatives that have the most beneficial lasting impact on the community. We have a robust Social Value strategy in place that outlines our KPIs, which we review internally, on a quarterly and annual basis. We work in partnership with clients, local stakeholders, community groups, schools, and charities to deliver measurable social value impact.
We are focused on
Creating sustainable employment and apprenticeship opportunities for local people.
Engaging with schools to raise awareness among children around careers in construction.
Embedding equality, diversity and inclusion policies and practices, ensuring everyone feels safe and welcome.
Engaging with communities through employee volunteering and sponsorship.
Health and Safety
We honour our duty of care obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all related regulations to ensure the Health and Safety of our employees and all those affected by our works.
We understand that the pressures of work and everyday life can affect us all, so have trained Mental Health First Aiders within the company who are always there for support. We’ve also put in place a reliable mental health reporting procedure with the help of the Lighthouse Club, a dedicated charity that provides mental health, financial, work and relationship assistance to construction workers.
Construction is considered a high-risk industry, so we take our responsibility incredibly seriously. We ensure that every single team member is fully trained and competent to carry out their work, meaning that everyone goes home to their families at the end of the day, in the same condition they arrived. As members of the British Safety Council and accredited by CHAS, SafeContractor and Constructionline, we regularly benchmark our performance to ensure our standards exceed industry best practice.

Sustainability
Quinn London works closely with our team, clients, suppliers and subcontractors on all aspects of sustainability, to make environmental considerations integral to our decision-making.
We have committed to ambitious targets to achieve Net Zero Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by 2040 – ten years before the UK Government’s target date. Our continued efforts to reduce GHG emissions extends to all group offices, workplaces, employees, subcontractors, value chain and others affected by our operations. Whenever possible, we develop low-carbon options for our clients and actively encourage the use of sustainable design, materials and construction methods.
To achieve these targets, Quinn London will engage with a range of activities across planning and operations:

RESIDENT LIAISON
Quinn London’s in-house Resident Liaison Officers work proactively with residents to keep them informed every step of the way, providing support and advice prior to works commencing, through to completion and beyond.
We believe that with great communication, we can build strong relationships and customer care for our communities during and following our works. Our Resident Liaison team receive a wealth of customer care and safeguarding training, including working with vulnerable residents. Upon completion, our resident satisfaction surveys allow us to review our processes and level of care, ensuring we’re always delivering a service we are proud of.
I was very impressed with the site team that completed the refurbishment of my kitchen and bathroom. They were polite well mannered and always turned up on time. They left my flat immaculate at the end of each day”
