Evelina Mansions

Industrial Dwellings Society (IDS) appointed Quinn London to deliver comprehensive window and door replacement works, alongside external fabric repairs at Evelina Mansions. 

The project scope included a full roof replacement, removal of all existing timber windows and doors, and installation of new double-glazed timber units. Additional works involved repairs to the external building fabric, redecoration of both external elevations and internal communal areas, and the application of fire-rated coatings to enhance safety. 

To further improve fire protection measures, Automatic Opening Ventilators (AOVs) were installed within the stairwells, helping to safeguard common escape routes in the event of a fire. 

A strong focus was placed on resident engagement throughout the project. Our team implemented a tailored communication strategy that included regular letters, email newsletters, on-site notices, satisfaction surveys, and evening resident meetings to maximise accessibility and participation. 

This proactive approach resulted in an overall resident satisfaction score of 96%, with a 76% response rate, a clear reflection of our commitment to delivering high-quality work while maintaining positive relationships within the communities we serve.
