Quinn London Spreads Christmas Cheer to the Local Community
Quinn London has been proud to support residents in Barnet throughout 2025 by delivering essential energy improvement works as part of their Barnet Retrofit Programme. The works make a difference by enhancing energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and improving residents’ comfort and wellbeing.
The Barnet Retrofit Scheme is being delivered in two phases. Phase 1 successfully covered 70 properties across Fryent Grove, Hyde Crescent and Goldsmith Avenue. Quinn London is currently delivering Phase 2, which includes 86 properties, with 57 homes located in Clitterhouse Road and Crescent followed by a further 29 properties in Sturgess Avenue and Berkeley Crescent.
To celebrate the festive season and thank residents for their patience and cooperation during the works, Quinn London hosted a Christmas event on Thursday 11th December for families living on Clitterhouse Road and the nearby area. Children were delighted to receive an early Christmas gift and a special visit from Father Christmas in his grotto, which was built and decorated by the Quinn London site team.

The event also featured a Christmas raffle, with a range of prizes donated for residents. All funds raised from the raffle were donated to UNITAS, a local organisation dedicated to supporting and empowering young people in Barnet. UNITAS provides a safe, fun, inclusive and nurturing environment where young people can grow in confidence, develop skills and build resilience.
Quinn London has an ongoing relationship with UNITAS and has previously supported the organisation through internal fundraising initiatives, including a Halloween Bake Sale in October that raised an impressive £230. They also hosted a DIY workshop where local children took part in learning practical skills such as measuring, assembling and painting. The children turned a blank wall into a mural, chosen through a competition asking what the space meant to them.
The Christmas get together provided an opportunity for residents of the local community to come together and celebrate the season before the year draws to a close.
