Quinn London were appointed to support the UoP with it’s Estate Masterplan Enhancement Programme, it’s most ambitious development project in history. For this project we expanded our geographical reach outside of London, undertaking wide-ranging renovation works to help the UoP establish it’s position as a world class teaching and learning facilities. Quinn worked with the university across a series of contracts, totalling £14m+. The works has included extensive renovation, refurbishment and modernisation of a range of buildings.

£9.4m Student Accommodation Refurbishment: Langstone Estate and West Building

The Langstone student village is part of a larger sports campus. The site comprised of various shared and independent living blocks with sports fields located between. Four of the blocks, located towards the north end of the site, had been vacant since 2018. Each brick built block comprised of four storeys. Quinn London undertook the refurbishment of both the exterior and interior, including MEP works, of the student accommodation. West Building, also located within the Langstone student village, required significant external and internal refurbishment.

£2.6m Fire Door Replacements

As a FIRAS accredited Main Contractor for fire rated timber doors, Quinn London are expertly placed to have delivered the UoP’s Fire Door Replacement of Priority Buildings contract, under the Estate Masterplan Enhancement Programme. Across two phases of works Quinn London installed circa 301 compliant fire doors across eight buildings within the Universities Estate.
