Our placement superstar Jess Dowdy has won the Women In Property (WIP) Awards.

Having already been crowned Regional Winner in the South East of England, Jess faced a gruelling round of interviews on the 17th of September. Following the interview, that evening, she was announced the national winner  at the ‘Best of the Best’ Awards Dinner at Claridges.

The WIP National Student Awards were launched to celebrate the wealth of knowledge, ability and enthusiasm being provided to the industry from Universities. The award is open to Second Year female students studying a Built Environment course, and is now in its eighth year. The aspiration of the Award is to nurture talent and help encourage women in construction to be the role models of tomorrow.

With women only representing 15% of the property and construction industry workforce, the WIP Association has done a fantastic job of readdressing this balance and enhancing the profile of women within the sector.

We wish Jess the best of luck in her interview next week.
