Volunteering
23 December, 2020
Quinn London Ltd proudly take part in volunteering opportunities and encourages all employees to volunteer for activities in the local community. Part of this promotion involves the sponsorship by Quinn London of Social Value projects in the local community as well as permitting the personal volunteering opportunities by employees on other community projects with local charities and schools. Quinn London seeks to add value through the positive impacts that result from a successful and integrated volunteering programme.
Participating in volunteering programmes is greatly beneficial to not only Quinn London, but the local community. The projects Quinn London are involved in support the local economy and enable skills and competencies to be developed and enhanced with the public. Not only do employees benefit from the development of new skills, but their mental and physical health also improves whilst attending these events outside of the workplace. Volunteering and fundraising makes a great contribution to the local economy with lasting community benefits and the work undertaken on these volunteering projects are all carried out during working hours.
All volunteering activities attended by employees which are usually sponsored or organised by Quinn London are recorded by the Social Value Manager and a log is kept for staff to fill in when they volunteer during working hours along with a periodic report to their line manager of their experiences. These periodic reports may be used in promotional communications, both internally within the Quinn London and externally in marketing materials.
