Graveney School Sixth Form Expansion Completion
19 August, 2019
It was great to celebrate the opening of the Oppenheimer Sixth Form new build expansion project with the head teacher Graham Stapleton and deputy head teacher Cynthia Rickman last Friday. The client team have been extremely pleased with our performance on site with the project being successfully delivered on time and budget.
This project has been our biggest cross laminated timber (CLT) project to date. CLT has helped to fast track the delivery of this project with the speedy installation of the structure and negating the requirement for wet trades on site. We worked closely with Kreuz Lagen Holz, on the design of the timber structure and careful coordination of delivery and installation to ensure the programme of works was adhered to. We would like to thank architects Urban Projects Bureau, Michael Barclay Partnerships and AA projects QS/PM team on delivering a hugely successful project for the school.
