This project is a residential development, comprising of the demolition of an existing community hall and estate office with the design and construction of 12 residential properties including 8 houses, a block of 4 apartments and a community building across five sites.
Internal works of the project:
- Metal stud partitions
- Dry lining plastering
- Underfloor heating
- Finishes painted
- All new kitchens, bathrooms, toilets
- Balcony’s with privacy screens
- Skylights in community centre
- Tiled finish
- High spec fixtures and finishings
External works on the project:
- External lighting
- Installation of a man safe system
- Solar panels for the residential properties
- Flat roof finish to residential properties
- New drainage
- Retaining walls
The community centre has a very modern look to it with sloping roof lines and pitches. Internally the main hall has a high ceiling and was finished to a high spec.
This project was carried out in a live environment across a number of seperate sites throughout the works and careful consideration had to be given to the safety of the public which was achieved through meetings and planning before the works started.
