Health and Safety at Quinn London
We honor our duty of care obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the CDM Regulations (2015), and adopt a proactive approach to identifying and controlling risks at their source to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of those under our care, and anyone that may be affected by our work.
With an ever-changing environment construction is a high-risk industry, which places health and safety at the forefront of all our work activities. Effective planning and management allow us to minimise risks and ensure the success of every project. As members of ROSPA and the British Safety Council, our company’s aim is to ensure that occupational health and safety standards exceed industry best practices. With the help of our in-house SHEQ team, we consistently benchmark our performance through CHAS, ConstructionLine, and Exor certifications, and were awarded the ROSPA Gold Award for Health and Safety Achievement in 2018.
As on all our projects, we will employ several trusted and tested processes and procedures to ensure the health and safety of our operatives, clients, and anyone else that might be affected by our work.
All method statements and risk assessments are approved by the project team, and we hold a briefing session on-site to communicate procedures to all team members prior to any work commencing. We discuss methods and restrictions and all operatives are given the opportunity to identify or clarify issues at that time. All operatives sign up to confirm that they have read and understood the information provided and that they will adhere to the safe methods identified within the documentation.
The combination of safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) management, form the cornerstone of what makes Quinn London successful.
