Bridge House

CLIENT: London Borough of Wandsworth
VALUE: £1.2m
DATE: May 2018

The works comprised of the strip-out of the existing building, including the removal of internal walls and installation of new steel goal post supports to both the ground and first floor.

New partition walls were erected and all new mechanical and electrical services run. 11 bedrooms were created all on wireless handle access control and bespoke fitted wardrobes and linen cupboard created. Two large sliding folding partitions were installed to divide the kitchen/living room/games room areas.

A new extension to the side of the building was erected to house a platform lift for disabled access to the first floor.

External landscaping was undertaken to the front and rear, whilst paving slabs along the sides of the building were removed and re-laid to the desired levels. New concrete paving stones were laid to the front along with resin bound gravel and new plantings. At the rear, an area of tarmac was poured along with resin bound gravel and the existing grass areas were reseeded.

New metal railings were installed around the perimeter with matching gates and artificial ivy for decorative effect.
