The project comprised of the strip out of the existing basement of the St Mungo’s hostel. New partitions were installed to create new office spaces and provide a large open communal space. New M&E services were installed, including access-controlled security to office spaces. New drainage runs was broken out to connect the new shower rooms and bathrooms into existing manholes. A new bespoke kitchenette was installed in the communal area and a new kitchen installed to the staff room.
A curved steel staircase was installed in the double height communal area to create a new main entrance to the separate NSNO area and to provide a mean of access to the private courtyard,
