Our first ever Breakfast meetings took place just before Christmas at London University’s Senate House. The event saw some of the biggest names in Construction Law, Social Housing, Educational Estate Management and Architects, come together to hear presentations from David Bebb Partner at Fenwick Elliott Law Practitioners and Kenneth Kinsella Head of Estates from the London School of Economics. With each presentation providing an insight into each speaker’s area of specialisation.
David Bebb’s presentation focused on ‘is the boot now on the other foot? The contractor’s perspective on projects in a buoyant market’ covering procurement trends, legal developments, and tips for clients and contractors.
With Kenneth providing an insight into the best ways to enter into and win design competitions, within the ultra-competitive Higher Education sector.
Both presentations were well received and prompted interesting discussions from all different areas of the industry.
We will be running breakfast seminars every quarter with an interesting set of speakers lined up discussing relevant on target topics within construction.
