Quinn London was awarded this 18 week project at the Institute of Directors HQ. This venue is one of the most popular business venues in the capital with thousands of IOD members and their guests visiting the premises every week, the building is also a landmark of London’s great Georgian Heritage. This project focused on the external redecoration of a Grade 1 listed building with roof and window repairs.
The external works comprised of:
• Render repairs
• Decoration works
• Pigeon netting and bird wire installation
• Roofing Repairs
• Window repairs
All works were carried out in a live environment so we had to take precautions to prevent noise and dust. We liaised closely with the client to ensure that all disturbances were kept to a minimum.During the works we carried out a number of render checks to ensure that all repairs were in keeping with the rest of the building.
This site had an extremely busy surrounding area which complicated the erection and striking of the scaffolding. To overcome these challenges we put in place numerous parking bay and pavement suspensions to facilitate the works and enable access for plant and materials.
‘Quinn were a pleasure to work with from quote to completion. We worked seamlessly together throughout the summer. We particularly enjoyed out on-site Quinn Manager Danny, he has a real ‘can do’ attitude and excellent problem solving abilities, by the time the project was complete he was like part of the team. Paul and Henry ensured that the project ran smoothly and our building looks fantastic following the works. We would happily recommend Quinn as a preferred partner and will definitely be working together in the future’
