Health & Safety

At Quinn London Health and Safety is a priority that runs from the top of our organization down to all the sites and our supply chain partners.

Safety first

Safety begins with training for our own teams, based on the national standards, the Health & Safety Executive legislations and in accordance with our company safety policy. To maintain high standards, all managers and members of staff undergo special regular health & safety courses such as the 5 day CITB and all carry CSCS cards.

On site

Just as safety has to be designed into every project by the architects, Quinn London are  responsible for ensuring the construction is planned and carried out with a full health & safety specification throughout the supply chain. This applies to every aspect of the work, down to the fine details of the materials that are specified and used, as well as the preparation of method statements and risk assessments to insure safe systems of working.

In the community

Our resident liaison teams work closely with the communities to ensure our projects do not present a risk to their health and safety. This often involves the close co-operation of local police representatives, schools, colleges and of course, the residents. Safety is also promoted through special presentations and initiatives.

Our safety initiatives for children have involved the personal attention of our resident liaison team in schools.

Closely involve the children and teachers to make them fully aware of the works and how it effects them, making them appreciating our concern for their safety - to keep them on side and off site.

Leading the industry

As well as conducting our own regular site checks, independent industry experts assess individual projects as regularly as once a week, preparing written reports that are seen by both our Managing Director and other senior management members.
