Franklin Wilkins Library
Works
The refurbishment of an existing library space in the Franklin Wilkins Building at King's College Waterloo Campus. The aim of the project was to organise levels 1 and 2 of the existing library to make it fit for purpose and flexible. This included a student hub zone on level 1 and a number of study spaces and library shelving areas on level 2.
The works were undertaken through a Design & Build Contract. Careful consideration was needed in a relatively short space of time on this fast track contract in order to develop and issue our contractors proposals, place trade packages and with careful programming achieve the clients re-opening of the Library on the 12th of September 2011
