The annual Quinn London golf day was a fantastic success last week, with 9 teams pitching up against each other for the chance to win a whole host of prizes. These included; longest drive, nearest the pin, best Stableford score and even the chance to win a car on the 12th hole in one challenge.
An especially big congratulations goes to a few members of the Quinn team, namely Terry Glynn for best individual score, Neil O’Shea for longest drive and James Quinn for nearest the pin.
As ever The Shire London provided excellent service, their staff helped to ensure that the day ran smoothly and everyone had a fantastic time. Although the conditions were challenging at times with a strong wind whipping across the course, the rain held off and we enjoyed a few long periods of sunshine.
After the day’s golf we headed in for a well-deserved dinner, drinks and the award ceremony. Unfortunately no one was lucky enough to score a hole in one on the 12th so the car remained unclaimed. Better luck next time guys!
The quote of the day “You wouldn’t find that ball if you wrapped bacon around it and sent Lassie out to look for it”.
Thanks to everyone that attended the golf day, we look forward to seeing you again next year.
